Network Details

Base Sepolia (Testnet)

Base Sepolia is the recommended testnet for ZynPay development. It's fast, reliable, and has excellent faucet support. Use this network for all integration testing before deploying to mainnet.

  • Chain ID: 84532
  • Block Time: ~2 seconds (fast confirmations)
  • Gas Token: ETH (Sepolia) - you need ETH to pay for transaction fees
  • USDC Token: Testnet USDC (no real value)
  • Faucet: Get free testnet tokens from the Circle Faucet (USDC and ETH)
  • Block Explorer: BaseScan Sepolia

Arc Testnet

Arc is Circle's Layer-1 blockchain optimized for payments. It's unique because USDC is the native gas token, meaning you only need USDC for both payments and transaction fees—no separate ETH required.

  • Chain ID: 5042002
  • Block Time: ~2 seconds
  • Gas Token: USDC (native) - USDC pays for both payments and gas fees
  • USDC Token: Native USDC (testnet, no real value)
  • Faucet: Get free testnet USDC from the Circle Faucet
  • Block Explorer: ArcScan Testnet
  • Status: Beta - suitable for testing but may have occasional issues

Base Mainnet

Base Mainnet is now live! Accept real USDC payments from customers on Base. The router contract is deployed and ready for production use.

  • Chain ID: 8453
  • Gas Token: ETH (Base)
  • USDC Token: Real USDC with real monetary value

Arc Mainnet (Coming Soon)

Arc Mainnet support will be available once Arc launches their mainnet. This will allow you to accept real USDC payments on Arc, where USDC is the native gas token.

  • Chain ID: TBD (will be announced when Arc mainnet launches)
  • Gas Token: USDC (native) - USDC pays for both payments and gas fees
  • USDC Token: Real USDC with real monetary value
  • Block Explorer: ArcScan
  • Status: Coming Soon - Depends on Arc mainnet launch

How to Choose a Network

For Development & Testing:

  • Use Base Sepolia for most testing scenarios
  • Use Arc Testnet if you want to test USDC-native gas payments
  • Both testnets provide free tokens via faucets

For Production:

  • Base Mainnet is live and ready for production use
  • Arc Mainnet support will be available once Arc launches their mainnet
  • Always verify contract addresses before deploying
  • Start with small amounts and gradually scale
  • Monitor transactions and implement proper error handling
